Our client is seeking a highly-experienced manager with significant experience in defining Windows desktop client standards within a large organization.
Job Description:
- Lead the development of a standard Windows desktop client image, ensuring that the image is compatible with PC hardware deployed within the organization.
- Develop strategies for automated deployment of the standard desktop image and updates throughout the organization.
- Frequent interaction with senior IT management.
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years of recent experience in the role described above within a large organization with thousands of desktops.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems as well as typical Windows-related software.
- Experience with automated software distribution.
- Supervisory experience.
- Ability to comfortably interface with senior management.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field of study.

Scrum Master (contract), Northern California - Updated 4/16/09
Our client is seeking a Scrum Master to help deploy Scrum and Agile software development methodologies throughout an organization. The ideal candidate will be a Scrum guru who has taught this methodology to others within his or her organization.
Job Description:
- Scrum Masters (SM) will lead a software development and customization project
- The project includes considerable work related to back-end systems
- The SM will facilitate a team within a Scrum of Scrums structure
- The SM will shadow/educate leadership team and potential Scrum Coach on Agile/Scrum
Required Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of and practical experience with Scrum, including experience teaching Scrum to others
- Must have end to end experience on software development projects for 8-10 years and should have managed projects lately
- Must have continuous 2+ years of Scrum Master experience including the last 1 year
- Must possess good understanding of analysis and design techniques including UML
- Must possess excellent communications skills, and be able to educate a variety of users (business, core IT, non core IT)
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple Scrum teams
- Demonstrated result orientation - ability to design team composition and process configuration, and improvise as needed
Desired Skills:
- Formal certification as a Scrum Master
- Healthcare experience
